Plot of High Card Season 2

Crunchyroll says this about the story of the High Card sequel: “Finn, who was living on the streets, found out that his orphanage was about to close because of lack of money and went to a casino to try to make a lot of money.”

However, Finn could not have been ready for the nightmare that was waiting for him. When Finn got there, a man’s “lucky” card led to a car chase and a bloody shootout.

The summary says about the 52 X-Playing cards, “Finn will find out what the shootout was all about in the end.” The world order can be ruled by a deck of 52 X-Playing Cards, each of which can give its owner different superhuman powers and skills.

High Card

When people play these cards, they can access the “buddy” power that is hidden inside them. It gives us more information about the mysterious group: “There is a secret group of players called High Card, who have been told directly by the king of Fourland to collect the cards that have been spread out across the kingdom while working as extras for the luxury car company Pinochle.”

Finn is picked to be the fifth member of the group and soon joins them on a risky mission to find the cards. It says at the end, “All you need in life are manners, dignity, and the will to bet on your own life.”

But the gang is blocked by Who’s Who, a rival car company that is concerned with beating Pinochle, and the Klondikes, a famous Mafia family. These card-obsessed players are about to start a crazy fight driven by justice, desire, and revenge!”
