The long-awaited film, Poomaram, which marked the debut of star kid Kalidas Jayaram as a lead actor, has hit the screens on March 15. The movie, written and directed, has opened to mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. However, the pre-release hype around the film helped it a lot to achieve a good opening day collection.
