He began entering singing competitions while still a student in elementary school. He has also been featured in several reality singing competitions, such as ‘Folk Star Dhoom Thadaka.’

A heart arrest took his life on June 29, 2023. Sai went to see his family at their farm in Karukonda, Nagarkurnool district, Telangana, the day before he passed away. He began feeling chest pains late at night and was rushed to a Nagarkurnool hospital.

Later, he was taken to Care Hospital in Hyderabad, but the doctors there proclaimed him dead once he got there. K. Chandrashekar Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana, was saddened to hear of his death.
