Sai Chand Career
As a Singer:
He began entering singing competitions while still a student in elementary school. He has also been featured in several reality singing competitions, such as ‘Folk Star Dhoom Thadaka.’
At the inaugural ceremony of Martyrs Jyoti, he gave a performance that many people still talk about.
Songs like “Jeena Haito Marna Seekho,” “Gulaabiveerudo,” “Amma Paata,” and “Rathibommalona” can be found on his YouTube account, which he launched in 2017. There are roughly 35 videos on his channel, and he has 20,500 subscribers.
As a Politician:
He became a Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) member, or Bharat Rashtra Samithi, an Indian political organization, on September 6, 2003. In addition, he helped advance the cause of Telangana’s independence from Andhra Pradesh.
He used music and dance to rally support for the new state of Telangana during the movement’s second phase.
After the establishment of the state, he made it his mission to inform the public about the government’s development and welfare initiatives. Sai Chand was named Chairman of the Telangana State Warehouse Corporation in December 2021.
He was a Mahbubnagar local authority constituency Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) candidate in 2023. However, he was no longer considered for the position afterward.
Sai Chand Death
A heart arrest took his life on June 29, 2023. Sai went to see his family at their farm in Karukonda, Nagarkurnool district, Telangana, the day before he passed away. He began feeling chest pains late at night and was rushed to a Nagarkurnool hospital.
Later, he was taken to Care Hospital in Hyderabad, but the doctors there proclaimed him dead once he got there. K. Chandrashekar Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana, was saddened to hear of his death.
Rao noted Sai’s crucial role in the cultural movement accompanying the fight for Telangana statehood. In addition, Rao stated that Sai’s performances were always included in his public gatherings.
