Mohanlal’s third outing of the year, Drama, written and directed by Ranjith has hit around 135 theaters across the state. The movie fails to satisfy critics as well as audiences. Our reviewer said, “Drama is a movie that just goes on and on without an aim and whatever bits of dialogue humor are there in the movie keeps it away from being a disastrous one. A stranded Mohanlal is trying his best to elevate this movie and sadly that wasn’t at all working in favor of the film.”
The movie was off to a below average opening at the box office. It has minted around 5.11 Lkahs from Kochi multiplexes with an average audience occupancy of 68%. The movie will face strong competition from movies like Sarkar and Oru Kuprasidha Payyan in the coming days.
