MT Vasudevan Nair backs out of the film Randamoozham

Mollywood’s most awaited and prestigious project Randamoozham is now reportedly facing a crisis as MT Vasudevan Nair, who had written the screenplay for the film, announced that he is withdrawing from it. The report further suggests that the eminent writer is disappointed that the shooting of the film didn’t start even though he handed over the screenplay 4 years ago and the contract was for 3 years. He also demanded the screenplay back from the producers. The movie was set to be produced by BR Shetty and directed by VA Shrikumar and the budget was reported to be around 1000 crores.

Meanwhile, VA Shrikumar responded to this in his facebook post in which he said that it was his mistake that he couldn’t inform MT about the progress of the movie as he was busy with the post production works of Odiyan. He also stated that he will fulfil MT’s dream of seeing his dream project on silver screen as soon as possible and is confident that he could start the shooting of the film by July 2019.
