Veteran Malayalam filmmaker K K Haridas passes away
Veteran film director KK Haridas passed away following a massive cardiac arrest on August 26. He had been admitted to a hospital in Kochi on Sunday morning. According to the hospital authorities, he breathed his last at 11.30 am. He was 52. The director, who hails from Pathanamthitta, is survived by his wife Anitha Haridas, daughter Haritha Haridas and son Suryadas.
Known for making humorous movies, K K Haridas has helmed several hit movies like Vadhu Doctoraanu, Kokkarakko, Kaakkaykkum Poochaykkum Kalyaanam, Kinnam Katta Kallan and Kalyanappittennu. His last released movie was 3 Wicketinu 365 Runs.
