Megastar Mammootty’s stylish entertainer Abrahaminte Santhathikal hit the screens on June 16. It has got a fantabulous opening at the Kerala box office. Many midnight shows were added across Kerala due to huge rush on opening day. The film has done a business of 2.95 Crores on the first day at the Kerala box office and became the biggest opener of the year. It has overtaken first day collection of Aadhi, which has collected 2.77 Crores on its opening day.
From Kochi multiplexes, the film has minted over 7.45 Lakhs with an occupancy of 98.41% on its opening day and became the Malayalam movie with highest opening day gross there this year till date by surpassing the record previously set by Pranav Mohanlal’s Aadhi.
