Story and Characters in Poppy Playtime 4
To get you ready for what might happen in Chapter 4, let’s go over what stopped Chapter 3. In the last scenes, CatNap, a monster that looks like a cat, is faced by the player at the Gas Production Zone.
Once it has been defeated, the Prototype, a mysterious being, makes its hand appear from the roof. When CatNap tiredly gives in, the Prototype stabs it in the mouth and pulls its body away, so it doesn’t do anything.
Then Poppy shows the player a video from “The Hour of Joy,” which shows that the Prototype was the one who told the killers to kill the Playtime Co. factory workers.
The player and Poppy take the lift down to the Prototype’s Lair because they want to kill it. On the other hand, Kissy Missy is struck by someone she doesn’t know. With that, Chapter 3 comes to an end. Poppy and the player bring the lift back up to save her.
Book 4 of Poppy Playtime will pick up the story with the same characters where Book 3 left off. Poppy and the player will try to protect Kissy Missy from the people who are after her. Olie might come back to help us again.
Based on how the story has gone so far, it’s clear that the Prototype will be the main bad guy in the next story. Justice will be done, and they are the ones who did wrong.
According to Mobile Matters, In Chapter 4, we’ll learn more about the story, and we may find out why the Prototype wants to kill the Playtime Co. workers. Besides that, the Prototype’s Lair might be looked into, and it might be one of the main plot points of the chapter.
