Desamuduru Re-release: Allu Arjun, a highly acclaimed star in the country, has gained recognition as a pan-Indian sensation following the tremendous triumph of Pushpa. He recently shared a special message on Twitter.

On this special occasion, the fans of the superstar also get a gift through the unexpected re-release of one of his earlier blockbusters “Desamuduru.”

A re-release of the film will happen next month on the eve of his birthday, April 6th, 2023.

The Announcement Of Desamuduru’s Re-release Has Generated Excitement Among Fans

It has become common for older films to be re-released, but this is a first for Allu Arjun as one of his older films gets a second chance on the big screen in honor of his 20-year career in the industry. Fans are thrilled about the opportunity to watch the iconic action movie in theaters again.

Desamuduru, released in 2007, was a major blockbuster for Allu Arjun, significantly contributing to his box office success. Alongside Hansika Motwani, the movie became a game-changer for Telugu films, elevating Allu Arjun’s status as a dependable action hero. The dubbed version in another language was titled “Hero.” This was also Allu Arjun’s first collaboration with the successful filmmaker Puri Jagannadh.

“Desamuduru” Synopysis

Bala, who works for a TV channel, is sent away for an out-of-town job after getting into trouble with a thug. Upon meeting a woman, he falls in love with her, but a gangster soon kidnaps her.

The filming for the movie commenced on 14th July 2006 at Hyderabad, with the first schedule of shooting taking place there.

The next schedule took place in Himachal Pradesh, with a few action sequences being filmed at Manali in September 2006. Following this, some scenes featuring the lead actors were shot in Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh. Originally planned to conclude on 5th December 2006, this schedule wrapped up on 10th October 2006 instead. In early December of that year, a few crucial action scenes were filmed at the Aluminium Factory located in Gachibowli.

Allu Arjun has been a top-grossing star in the South Indian film industry with several blockbuster hits to his name. Some of his most notable movies include “Arya,” “Race Gurram,” “Sarrainodu,” and “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” all of which were commercial successes.

In 2023, Allu Arjun will have multiple upcoming projects. One of the most highly anticipated films is Pushpa: The Rule, a sequel to his critically acclaimed film Pushpa: The Rise. Pushpa: The Rule has become the most awaited film of the year.

In addition, Allu Arjun will be seen in ICON, a romantic entertainer directed by Venu Sriram, which is scheduled to release in 2023. The movie also features Pooja Hegde and Krithi Shetty. Allu Arjun will also star in AA21, directed by Koratala Siva, with Pooja Hegde and Murli Sharma. However, there is no official release date for AA21 yet.
