Will there be a Season 4 of Power Book II: Ghost?
Yes! Power Book II: Ghost will have a fourth season after STARZ approved a new season before the start of season three, according to UPROXX.
“Power Book II: Ghost’s high-octane drama continues to resonate with our viewers, and we’re thrilled to start production on season four ahead of our season three debut,” said Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for Starz.
“Our fans can’t wait for more of this exciting show, and we can’t wait for Michael to join our amazing cast.”
When will Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 come out?
We already know that Power Book II: Ghost will have a fourth season, but we don’t know when it will start. Despite that, we know that the new season won’t start until at least May 3.
Power Book III: Getting Up Kanan is almost halfway through its season, and it will end on February 2.
The next 50 Cent-assisted show to come out on the platform is BMF, whose third season starts on March 1. It looks like that season will last until at least May 3.
Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 Production Status
Starz hasn’t said when season 4 of Power Book II: Ghost will be out. The last season ran in 2023, but the WGA and then SAG-AFTRA strikes started soon after the summer finale in May. If seasons come out about a year apart or less as usual,
Ghost season 4 might not come out until 2024. However, it’s not clear if the strikes will mean a later release date. The first season started in 2020 and ended in 2021, as per reports of Screenrant.
The second season began in November 2021 and ended in February 2022. The third season came out between March and May 2023.
In April 2023, Michael Rainy Jr. gave the impression that filming had already begun, which is good news because it means we won’t have to wait too long to find out when the next season of Ghost will be out.
There shouldn’t be as much time between the third season and the next one, according to the star of Ghost and Power: “Hopefully, hopefully, the wait for season 4 isn’t as long as the wait was for season 3.”
Who is coming back for Season 4 of Power Book II?
Fans can look forward to seeing some old faces when Power Book 2: Ghost finally comes back.
Without a doubt, Tariq St. Patrick, played by Michael Rainey Jr., will be back as the young city dweller who takes on the responsibility of running a drug business like his father did.
Braydon Weston, played by Gianni Paolo, is Tariq’s best friend and billionaire business partner.
Cane Tejada, played by Woody McClain, is Tariq’s main rival, and Monet Stewart Tejada, played by Mary J. Blige, is second-in-command of the Tejada drug cartel and the matriarch of the Tejada crime family.
These series regulars won’t be alone, though. Power Book II Season 4 also brings in a bunch of new characters.
Actor Michael Ealy will play Detective Don Carter, an NYPD officer who has “sworn to make the streets safer” by running “an elite NYPD drug task force that gets real results against drug-related violence” (Deadline).
Sydney Winbush’s Anya Convington is another new person who has joined. Anya is the daughter of drug boss Noma, and Tariq, the main character of the show, will end up falling in love with her.

What May Happen in Power Book II: Ghost Season 4?
Starz Entertainment shows Mary J. Blige with a small gun in Power Book II: Ghost. Power Book II: Ghost fans are very excited for Season 4, especially since Season 3 left a lot of open ends for the new season to explore.
For example, how will the Tejadas feel when they learn that Monet was the one who told the police to kill Lorenzo?
Also, how will the crime underworld in New York deal with and respond to Lorenzo’s death? In Season 3, Tariq’s family fought to keep their empire safe from both rival gangs and the police.
With the possibility of rifts between members, the new season looks like it will have a very interesting plot, just like the rest of the series and the Power World. Now that Detective Don Carter is a part of Season 4, he or she may be very important to the plot of the season.
As the head of a drug task force, Don Carter will likely go up against the people who make up New York’s criminal underbelly. The new season will also have a lot of great ideas for how to show how Don Carter changed Tariq.
Will Don Carter be Tariq’s enemy or friend as he tries to get out from under his father’s cloud and leave the criminal world? Will the detective think less of Tariq, which would make things harder for him?
Due to the previous Writer’s Guild strike and the current SAG-AFTRA strikes, there haven’t been many details about the new season.
The show’s revival hasn’t been talked about since May 2023, when another update came out. Since this is the case, most of what we know so far is based on hopes for what the new season might bring.
