Life Of Josutty is a family entertainer directed by Jeethu Joseph. The movie was simple and there was indeed no suspence or twist. A simple life of a man and the people related to him was narrated in the movie. The film was a perfect family entertainer says reports.
Dileep, Noby, Rachana Narayanankutty, Jyothi Krishna, Hareesh Perady, Sasi Kalinga, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Aqsa Bhatt etc played lead roles in the movie. The story is written by Rajesh Varma and Jayalal Menon. The film was released on 24th September and has a positive response all over. But there were many criticisms too, saying the second half was lagging and there is nothing new in the story. The movie was made with an approximate budget Rs 8 crore.
The movie grossed Rs. 1.20 crore on the very first day itself. The movie had a very good opening at theaters. Josutty is a simple – common man from a village. He is very much attahced to his family consisting of parents and sister. His role model is his own father and Josutty always tries to follow his path. Some circumstances changes his life totally and the story of Josutty passes through those situations.
The songs in the film is very much appreciated especially the song ‘Mele Mele’, sung by Shreya Ghosal. Anil Johnson is the music director and he tuned the lines of Santhosh Varma. Najim Arshad, Sangeeta Prabhu and Vijay Yesudas sang the other songs of the movie.
