Kunchacko Boban’s latest outing Shikkari Shambhu has hit the screens on January 20. It is clear that the movie, scripted by Nishad Koya and directed by Sugeeth, has failed to attract audiences to theatres on its opening day. Hope it will pick up much in the coming days. The movie is receiving mixed to positive response from both audience and critics. Our reviewer said, “You will occasionally laugh while watching Shikkari Shambhu. But it will be a bit hard to remember those jokes again once you come out of the cinema hall. Because of the assembled nature, this movie is neither boring nor exciting.”
As the movie could not make much impact in the box office collection it has got a flop status by collecting merely 5.12 crores from Kerala BO.
The movie has collected over 2 Lakhs from Kochi multiplexes with an occupancy of 50% on its opening day. Here is the detailed box-office collection report of the movie.
