Vijay is currently filming in Kashmir for his movie “Leo.” Vijay and Trisha lead in the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film Leo, which also features Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudevan Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Mathew Thomas.

Seeman, the founder of the political party Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), has recently requested actor Vijay to assume responsibility and change the title of his upcoming film, “Leo.” Some members of NTK have claimed that the title is an insult to their Tamil culture, and as such, it should be changed.

Seeman Urges Vijay To Take Responsibility and Rename ‘Leo’

Seeman requests Vijay

According to reports, the film’s title, ‘Leo,’ is derived from the astrological sign Leo and the lion symbol. In a recent interview with the media, politician, and film director Seeman reportedly stated that actor Vijay should assume the responsibilities of a public figure and change the title of his film “Leo.” Reportedly saying that since the Tamil audience will be viewing the film, the title should be in Tamil rather than English. Seeman added that the populace should safeguard the Tamil language before it becomes extinct.

“Tamizhans are only watching the film, and we should protect our mother tongue from reaching extinction, and even brother Vijay has that responsibility. Tamil titles were used in films, and now it’s changing, and English titles like Bigil are being used, and it must be changed.”

Seeman argues that actors and filmmakers are responsible for being culturally sensitive and accountable for the content they produce. He believes that Vijay, as a famous actor with a large following, has a particular responsibility to be aware of the impact of his work on different communities.
