Ruma wanted to be a doctor at first. But her mother wanted to see what was going on. So, her mom, Karishma sharma, did everything she could to help her become an actor. At age 6, she began her career at delhi’s shree ram centre auditorium. From 2008 on, she was in several star gold and dd channels shows. her show on dd1 was called zara si baat, and tiny production made it. When she was a child, she was in the movie dimag ki dahi (2009).
Her second show was jasoos vijay, an indian detective thriller movie directed by devika bahl and made by bbc world. After 12th grade, she moved to mumbai to find her dream job and focus on it. Even though her mother was a teacher, she worked hard to help ruma sharma achieve her dream. After moving to mumbai, she has been in many tv shows, including fear files: darr ki sacchi tasviren, savdhaan india, shapath, and code red.
