The recently uploaded poster to Twitter had Zendaya’s fans wondering if she would play Moana in the live-action adaptation of the film. Although Disney and Dwayne Johnson announced a live-action Moana film, Zendaya will not play the title character.
The fake poster depicted the Euphoria actress dressed as Moana and holding what appeared to be an oar. In the meantime, the image caption reads “Zendaya as Moana.” However, the poster lacked specifics and the Disney logo. The poster was initially shared as a screenshot on Facebook by a TikTok user with the caption,

The Rock Announces The Live-Action Remake Of The Disney Film
The Rock announced the new live-action remake during the April 3 Disney shareholders meeting. He tweeted,
