Plot of Season 2 of Severance
The story of Severance season 2 hasn’t been fully revealed yet, but there were hints in season 1 that set it up. In the last episode of the first season of Severance, the innies use the Overtime Contingency built into their Lumon Severance Chips to get control of themselves when they’re not at work.
It will be hard to undo what they did in the world, and in Severance season 2, Lumon will probably try to deal with MDR’s revolt without hurting their allies. There are also a lot of secrets about Lumon that could be solved in Severance season 2.
Some of these are what happened to Mark’s wife Gemma, who showed up again in the Lumon office as Ms. Casey, and the Severance Chips’ bigger goals for the company.
