Cast of Vigil Season 2

Detective Superintendent Kirsten Longacre, played by Suranne Jones, and her partner, DCI Amy Silva, played by Rose Leslie, will both be returning for more of the same.

Everyone loved the two in the pilot, so we can’t wait to watch how their romance grows in the second. Only some other cast members from the original series appear likely to return, which is not shocking.

However, Gary Lewis (His Dark Materials, Granite Harbour) will return as DSU Robertson. But famous faces like Dougray Scott (Crime, Enigma) and Romola Garai (Becoming Elizabeth, The Hour) will also appear on the show.

Cast members including Amir El-Masry (SAS Rogue Heroes, Limbo), David Elliot (The Liberator, Bulletproof), Chris Jenks (Sex Education, Karen Pirie), Tommy Sim’aan (The Midwich Cuckoos, Doctors), Oscar Salem (House of the Dragon, Des), Jonathan Ajayi (Noughts + Crosses), and Hiba Medina (her first significant TV role) will also be joining them. The six next episodes will feature all of these actors in substantial roles.
