Ankita Lokhande Jain is an Indian actress who mainly works in Hindi films and television. She started as an actress with a part that won an award in Pavitra Rishta (2009–2014). Ankita Lokhande: Early Life And Education
Lokhande was born in Indore on December 19, 1984, as Tanuja Lokhande. She was born into a Marathi family to a teacher named Shashikant Lokhande and his wife, Vandana Phadnis Lokhande. Her brother Sooraj and sister Jyoti are also her family. She came to Mumbai in 2005 to try to make a living as an actress after she graduated. In her younger years, she was a badminton winner.

Debut And Rise To Stardom
Ankita Lokhande got the major role of Archana Deshmukh in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap Pavitra Rishta after being on India’s Best Cinestar Ki Khoj (2007–2009). Between 2009 and 2014, she played Archana opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Hiten Tejwani. Lokhande competed in fifth place in Nikah Dikhhla Jaa 4 and Comedy Circus ka Naya Daur. She worked with Sachin Shroff in two episodes of Ek Thhi Naayka.
News spread that Lokhande would make her movie comeback in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Padmaavat, two years after she stopped acting and split up with Rajput. She said she wasn’t ready for the film and left the movie. Thoughts spread the following year that she and Sanjay Dutt had been cast in Girish Malik’s movie Torbaaz.
Film Debut
In 2018, Lokhande announced that she would make her film debut and would appear in the role of Jhalkaribai, a warrior in Krish and Kangana Ranaut’s joint directorial venture Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, an epic drama based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai. Next, Lokhande was in Sajid Nadiadwala’s action-thriller Baaghi 3, which came out in 2020 and was the third movie in the Baaghi series.
On February 20, 2022, Lokhande and her husband, Vicky Jain, competed on Star Plus Smart Jodi and won the season. In the 2023 movie The Last Coffee, she played a woman who was getting a divorce.
