The protagonist of Ved, played by Riteish, is a young man named Satya who aspires to play cricket for the Indian Railways and the Indian national team. He develops a solid attraction for Nisha (Jiya Shankar). But a local politician named Bhaskar (played by Raviraj Kande) causes havoc in Satya’s private and professional life, irrevocably changing the course of his life. After 12 long years, Satya gives up hope and turns to booze to dull the pain of his loneliness.
