By the end of its first week, it accumulated a total of Rs 81.14 crore.

Following its successful first week, the film continued to perform impressively at the box office. On its second Friday, it accumulated Rs 12.35 crore, followed by Rs 19.5 crore on the second Saturday, and approximately Rs 23 crore on the second Sunday. As a result, the film’s total earnings reached Rs 135.99 crore.

As we said above, “The Kerala Story” centers around the stories of three women from Kerala who were reportedly subjected to forced conversion and compelled to join the terrorist organization ISIS. Meanwhile, DY Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, questioned the West Bengal government about its ban. In his opinion, there’s no reason for the film to be banned in West Bengal, especially when it’s screened all over.

The Supreme Court also questioned the MK Stalin-led Tamil Nadu government about the movie not playing there. In addition, the top court questioned the state government’s security measures at the movie theatres.
