As per reports of Southern Living, On Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 9 p.m. ET, Season 2 of “The Way Home” will start on Hallmark Channel.
The first season ran from January to March 2023 and had ten episodes. This season will also have ten episodes. The original teaser for the show came out in December 2023, one month before the first episode.
When the second season starts, it will pick up right where the first season finished, which was full of surprises. The show shows the lives of three generations of strong, brave, and independent women.

Hallmark sets no date for the second season of “The Way Home,” but according to Hollywood North Buzz, shooting began in the Toronto area on August 21. The movie should be done on December 6.
A Hallmark press release says that shooting for the first season of “The Way Home” began in August 2022 and lasted about the same amount of time. Five months later, on January 15, 2023, the show’s first episode aired.

Kat, Alice’s mother, also finds out what’s going on in the pond and goes back in time to when her father and brother were still alive.
Kat tries to change history to save her brother and her father and change the past. But her efforts are in vain. Elliott has known about Alice and the time-travelling pond since he was a teenager.
He can finally tell Kat about this and also tell her that he has had a crush on her for a long time. Kat figures out by the end of the season that her uncle Jacob must have fallen into the pond and is now in a different time.
