When will Moana 2 come out?
According to Variety, Disney announced a follow-up to “Moana,” and it will be in theaters on November 27,2024. Bob Iger, the CEO of the company, told CNBC about the news before Disney’s earnings report for the first quarter of fiscal year 2024.
The second “Moana” was supposed to be a TV show at first, but Iger liked the footage so much that it turned into a movie. Iger said in a statement, “‘Moana’ is still a very popular franchise.” “We can’t wait for you to see more of Moana and Maui in ‘Moana 2,’ which comes out in November.”

Glamour Magazine states that Disney says that Moana 2 takes viewers on a new journey with Moana, Maui, and a “brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers.”

Cast of Moana 2
Disney hasn’t announced the cast for the second movie yet, but based on the story, Auli’i Cravalho will be back as Moana and Dwayne Johnson will play the god Maui.
In the Moana movie, we hope to see our favorite actors Alan Tudyk as Hei Hei the rooster and Nicole Scherzinger as Sina. But we don’t know for sure.
Who is working on Moana 2? The movie will be directed by Dave Derrick Jr., and the music will be by Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, who wrote the brilliant script for the Bridgerton musical, along with Opetaia Foa’i and Mark Mancina, who worked on the first movie.
Unfortunately, Lin Manuel-Miranda, who was nominated for an Oscar for writing How Far I’ll Go, won’t be working on Moana 2. However, we still expect great songs.
