‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ was confirmed in the year 2020. At first, the unnamed project was shrouded in mystery, but by early 2022, it was clear that the prequel was aiming for a 2024 release.
Jeff Nichols was replaced as director by Michael Sarnoski, but John Krasinski stayed an important part of the project as a co-writer and producer with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller.

“A Quiet Place: Day One” Trailer Released!
The movie’s trailer came out on February 7 from Paramount Pictures. The video starts with clips from the first two movies.
Then the screen goes black and the words “Day One” appear below it. The picture then cuts to Manhattan, where Nyong’o is crossing the streets when missiles hit and chaos breaks out.
Who plays the lead role in ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’?
According to People, Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou, and Denis O’Hare are some of the stars in the movie. Mediaweek says Nyong’o plays a character named Sam who is “on a day trip to New York City when the monsters arrive.”
As things get worse, she is “thrown together with a man named Eric” (played by Quinn), and she chooses to stick with him to stay alive.
Will John Krasinski and Emily Blunt be in A Quiet Place: Day One?
Since the third movie is set in a totally different world than the first two, it’s not likely that Blunt and Krasinski’s characters will show up.
But Hounsou, who was in A Quiet Place Part II, will play the “Man on the Island” again in the 2020 sequel. He helped a small group of survivors.
“It was great to have him in the movie and carry on the work of the last movie,” Nyong’o told EW of the A Quiet Place veteran. We asked if we’d find out what Hounsou’s character’s real name was, and she said, “Well, let’s just say that this film will satisfy many.”
The first two A Quiet Place movies were directed by Krasinski. This new movie, however, will be directed by Michael Sarnoski, who is best known for directing the Nicolas Cage movie Pig in 2021.
Krasinski wasn’t in charge of directing this movie again, but he was in charge of the spinoff. Sarnoski wrote the script for the new story that Krasinski and Sarnoski came up with.

When does ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ come out?

USA Today says that After being pushed back three times, the post-apocalyptic movie was finally set to come out on June 28, 2024, after being pushed back three times to March 31, 2023, September 22, 2023, and March 8, 2024.
The movie will open next to Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1, a western tale starring Kevin Costner. We’ve been disappointed by all the delays because we were looking forward to the story, but it looks like this movie will be worth the wait in the end.

Where will ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ stream?
At first, only theaters will be able to show A Quiet Place: Day One. But after that time period is over, the horror prequel and the first two movies in the popular series will be able to be streamed on the Paramount+ service.
The movie will also be streamable on Amazon’s Prime Video service sometime in the second half of 2024. It will be added to Paramount Pictures movies like Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
What’s the story of A Quiet Place: Day One?
The movie’s exact story hasn’t been revealed yet, but the new trailer shows that it’s mostly about how different people in New York City dealt with the monsters’ attack on Earth. Quinn told EW that the movie is not really a survival story but more of an escape movie.
Quinn told the news source, “It’s more of a character drama than anything else.” “The script takes place in a world we know, but the movie is mostly about these two lost characters who are trying to figure out what will happen to them.”
The movie has some great other characters that Sam meets, but Eric and Sam’s acceptance of this darker, quieter new world takes up most of the story.
Nyong’o says that this movie is different from the other A Quiet Place movies because it’s not about a family that stays together.
She said, “We don’t have that in this movie.” There are these different people whose lives cross each other’s at a very important time for the world.
How do they figure out how to stay alive together? The people who meet along the way have really interesting and even surprising chemistry with each other.
