Iyobinte Pusthakam

Amal Neerad directs the period thriller Iyobinte Pusthakam. It stars Fahadh Faasil, Lal, Jayasurya, and Isha Sharvani with Jinu Joseph, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan, Padmapriya, Sreejith Ravi, T.G Ravi, Amith Chakalakkal, John Vijay, Soubin Shahir and Lena in supporting roles. Faasil and Neerad produced the film together. Gopan Chithambaran and Syam Pushkaran wrote the script, and the film is a period drama set in Munnar, Western Ghats, in the middle of the 20th century. It chronicles the life of Iyob and the sibling rivalry of his sons Aloshy, Ivan, and Dimitri, who are named after characters from Fyodor Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov.

Jude Anthany Joseph co-wrote and directed the 2014 Indian Malayalam-language coming-of-age romantic comedy film Ohm Shanthi Oshaana. Midhun Manuel Thomas conceived the story and co-wrote the screenplay with the director. Renji Panicker and Aju Varghese co-star alongside Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, and Vineeth Sreenivasan. Ananya Films produced Ohm Shanthi Oshaana, which features music by Shaan Rahman.
