Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2 was officially confirmed in January 12, 2023. it was the biggest surprise for longtime fans. Later, the official Instagram for the show posted a picture of Rossi, Prentiss, and Tara in the Quantico elevator. At the bottom of the image, the show wrote:
