The Chi Season 6 Release Date
According to Hidden Remote, The Chi season 6 will air on Friday, August 4, 2023, so you won’t have to wait too long. Split into two eight-episode halves, the season will air in two distinct chunks.
Showtime picked up a sixth season of The Chi, while the fifth circulated in August 2022. The sixth season will launch digitally for Paramount Plus subscribers 48 hours before it airs on Showtime, as announced in June 2023.
We have yet to hear when the sequel will appear, but we should find out shortly.

Deadline notes that Season 6 cast includes Jacob Latimore, Alex Hibbert, Yolonda Ross, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Birgundi Baker, Luke James and Curtiss Cook.
Kandi Burruss, Vic Mensa, Carolyn Michelle Smith, Jason Weaver, Iman Shumpert, Nia Jervier, L’lerrét Jazelle, Hannaha Hall, Ahmad Ferguson, Genesis Denise Hale, Joel Steingold, Judae’a Brown, Miriam A. Along with Waithe and Common, the series is executive produced by Aaron Kaplan (A Million Little Things, The Neighborhood), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Derek Dudley and Shelby Stone of ID8 Multimedia, and Rishi Rajani, CEO of Hillman Grad.
Executive Producers Justin Hillian and Jewel Coronel are co-showrunners for Season 6, and producers Deondray Gossfield and Quincy LeNear Gossfield are set to direct multiple episodes.

On Wednesday, Showtime published a teaser trailer for the upcoming sixth season of “Chicago Fire,” giving viewers a glimpse into the lives of the now-mature Kevin, Jake, Papa, and the rest of the Windy City’s residents.
The episode airs on Sunday, August 6 at 9/8c, but you can watch it early on Paramount+ and On Demand beginning Friday, August 4 at midnight.

In the United States, you can watch The Chi on Showtime. You’ll need a cable or satellite TV subscription to catch the latest episodes as they air.
If you no longer wish to pay for cable or satellite TV service, live streaming services like FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, and YouTube TV all offer Showtime add-on subscriptions for a charge.
A subscription to Paramount Plus with Showtime will also provide access to the latest episodes online. New episodes air on Disney Plus in the UK, but there is no word yet on when Season 6 will begin.
How many episodes will be there in The Chi Season 6?
Fans of The Chi will be pleased to learn that the sixth season will have an extra-long episode. Seasons one through five of the drama each had 10 episodes, while season six includes a massive 16 episodes!
That’s probably why Showtime is dividing the season in half. Part 1 will consist of eight episodes, and Part 2 will include eight more, for a total of sixteen episodes in Season 6.
Is season 7 of The Chi in the works?
As of now, season six of The Chi will be its last. However, the extra episodes have not led anyone to believe this will be the series’ final run. That leaves the door open for Showtime to renew the show for a seventh season.
We wouldn’t be surprised if the sixth season’s ratings were high enough to merit a seventh, given this is one of the network’s most-watched shows. However, at this time, there is no solid evidence.
